Kuhapdo

Kuhapdo is the study of all aspects swordsmanship.  It teaches respect for this ancient weapon and its rich history.  A student of Kuhapdo becomes well versed not only in the use of the sword, but equally as important, in proper etiquette when handling a sword.  

Typical Kuhapdo practice includes formal bowing in followed by working on drawing and resheathing, blood shakes, and proper cutting techniques.  These skills are practiced both in routine drills and within hyungs.  Care and maintenance of the sword are also taught.
