Master Whitcomb has been dedicated to martial arts for over 20 years and has been teaching martial arts for over 15 years.  In addition to her experience as being a martial art instructor, she also is a veteran public school teacher with over 30 years of teaching expertise in the school system.

Sah Bum Nim Whitcomb has studied both Korean and Japanese styles, earning black belts in Tae Kwon Do, Karate, and Aiki-jujutsu.  She currently studies Tae Kwon Do under Grand Master Bryan Lagimoniere of the Athol Academy of Martial Arts.  In addition, she is working towards her first dan in Kuhapdo, a Korean sword art.   Her sword teacher is Master William May of Blue Stone Dojang.
